2013 marks the first year that we will attending the Chicago Toy & Game Fair on November 23 & 24 in you guessed it, Chicago, Illinois. 

I am so excited to go with my family to preview the event as a media/blogger.

Human Breast Milk Sold Online! Really!

This morning on my way to work, I here on the news that people are buying human breast milk that is sold online! I was like really! can't people buy formula!

Well, they went on to say that the breast milk was tainted and either has bacteria and salmonella.

Why risk your baby health for breast milk from people you don't know! There are so many disease out there that your baby can catch!

Government Shutdown Means Some Moms Are Short on Formula

The government shutdown is no doubt affecting thousands of families — 800,000 workers are on furloughs — but some moms who rely on government assistance for baby formula are feeling the short shrift, after the federal Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children was suspended. According to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, the government agency has stopped issuing the federal vouchers for baby formula, so moms who didn't pick up their vouchers before the shutdown don't know how they're going to feed their babies once they finish their formula supplies.
